Dreaming Of Clean Water – Fight Water Scarcity!

"Clean water is a dream for many people in the world. How can we fight this problem to create a world where everyone has access to clean water?"

For many of us in the developed world, all we need to do is to turn on the tap in our home to get clean and safe water. However, the drinking water of almost two billion people worldwide is tainted by fecal matter. One-third of the medical facilities in poor countries lack access to clean water. Here are the top five non-profits worldwide fighting the clean water scarcity problem.

GENEROSITY.ORG focuses on providing clean water to developing countries such as India, Uganda, Ghana, and Haiti. They work with local partners who best understand local conditions and which clean water solutions are the best for the locality they operate in.

SPLASH creates sustainable clean water projects for disadvantaged cities through collaborations with local governments and businesses. Splash also runs education programs to teach effective hygiene practices to children and trains local collaborators on proper toilet maintenance.

LIFEWATER INTERNATIONAL is a Christian clean water organization serving vulnerable communities in remote areas of East Africa and Southeast Asia. They provide safe drinking water and carry out projects to improve both sanitation and hygiene in these communities.

PLANET WATER FOUNDATION installs water filtration systems in schools and rural communities around the world. They also run clean water education programs for students. Their filtration systems are also known as "AquaTowers," which can provide a thousand people with up to 10,000 liters of clean water daily.

WATER 1ST INTERNATIONAL works with vulnerable communities in Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Honduras, and India to provide sustainable clean water solutions. They offer low-cost loans to these communities to build clean water and sanitation systems. The repaid loans are used to create more such systems to help even more communities.

If a world where everyone has access to clean water is your dream, get in touch with any of these organizations to take a step towards making that dream a reality.
